A Proverbs 31 Woman

Y’all… I knew I should have been a Fashion Designer! Now I have some scripture on it…

fashion

“She makes her own clothing,
and dresses in colorful linens and silks.
Her husband is greatly respected
when he deliberates with the city fathers.
She designs gowns and sells them,
brings the sweaters she knits to the dress shops.
Her clothes are well-made and elegant,
and she always faces tomorrow with a smile.
When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say,
and she always says it kindly.
She keeps an eye on everyone in her household,
and keeps them all busy and productive.
Her children respect and bless her;
her husband joins in with words of praise:
“Many women have done wonderful things,
    but you’ve outclassed them all!”
Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades.
The woman to be admired and praised
is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God.
Give her everything she deserves!
    Festoon her life with praises!”

Proverbs 31: 22-31 (MSG)

On Chariots…

Today’s Guest Post is from Dianna Stevens, she shared this beautiful poem with our ministry, Destiny Encounters, after listening to some of Charlie’s messages.

Else-when

There is a place called Else-when

It is not here, there or then

This place has many dimensions
There is much to see and mention

Time’s fabric fold and pleat
Another layer then repeat

In the green, the sky and wood
A place to contemplate what you should

See things down to the congealed light
Word spoken, then a spark so bright

See the fabric as on a loom
Warp and weft in perfect tune

Every pass of the shuttlecock
Takes the strings and builds a clock

There lies the theory of the string
The manipulation and making of things

Our spiral is changing
Quietly rearranging

In the junk there is a treasure
Everlasting and without measure

There are many realms though time and space
When do the Golden Sons take their rightful place

In those places the blood bought
We learn to travel just by thought.

To Else-when in a chariot I will land
The creation mystery to understand
