The Altar: The Place Of Sacrifice

Jane S

by Jane Schroeder

I had an encounter with the Lord that took place at the Wild Celtic Women Conference in January 2015, it was at the end of two days of intensive presence of the fear of the Lord. During this time, it was reported the sphere of heavens inflence/presence was felt two miles away from the conference centre. Wow!

In this encounter, He (The Lord) brought me the dance floor… The dance floor of romancing waltz turned into fire and a water fountain, all at the same time, sorrow and love mingled, flowed down.“Incendium Amoris” God is a consuming fire requiring sanctity. The fire, the melody of love.

The Seraphim hung crucified on the cross interchanging with the faces of God, blowing billows of fire onto the dance floor where people were worshipping dancing, romancing with their beloved Jesus. The fire glowed red-orange flames, incendium amoris came to mind, realizing that the floor had become a huge Altar of fire, burning coals. People began to walk onto the Altar, they became the Altar. The place of consecration, burning up their human sacrifice until they were all consumed to ashes.

On the mountain, Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son Isaac, this mountain of consecration. Therefore, Isaac is a type of Christ’s substitutionary atonement for sin according to Genesis 22:13.

“Then Abraham looked up and glanced around, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering and an ascending sacrifice instead of his son!” (AMP)

“I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies presenting all your members and faculties as a living sacrifice, holy devoted, consecrated and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable, rational, intelligent service and spiritual worship.” (Romans 12:1-2 AMP)

The fire comes ultimately to Prepare us for Holy Union with Christ! The fire consumes all things, and nothing resists it’s activity. It consumes all impurity within us to prepare us for Divine Union. The sweet fragrant smoke, ascends up as a sacrificial incense offering to the nostrils of the Almighty God. “Noah built an Altar to the Lord, taking every clean animal and every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the Altar. The Lord smelled the soothing aroma and the Lord said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man’s heart is evil from youth; I will never again destroy every living thing.” (Genesis 8:20-21)

The fire began to quell leaving only ash. God has sent me to give them a beautiful crown in exchange for ashes (Isaiah 61: 3), I looked up into Heaven to see the Lord God’s face pierce through a thin translucent atmosphere skin and sniff up the ash offering. As the fragrant offering entered his lungs the vapours exchanged into transparency of white mist. I could see the vapours traveling down his tubes into his belly, the misty particle transfiguring the purest white orb’s into living human beings in an internal dimension. So huge, so limitless- out of time and space. The Lord said this is a place of transformation; we are stepping into eternity. Seeing whole villages, towns appearing, whole communities spring up into life.

In Him

by Rachel Abraham

Hey guys, what a privilege to be given space to write to all you lovely people. I have been pondering in my heart and chatting with Papa about what I should write about, I have thought of many topics; family, marriage, children, Revival, Holy Spirit, Love, Rachel bio picMercy and many more. He has brought me back to HIM….Jesus…. my beautiful one, my lover, my friend, my hope, my strength, my all in all, my universe…WOW! He died so that I might LIVE…. He is Creator of the universe and He thought of me, not just “little ‘ol me” like the saying goes but ME, everything about me, my good bits and my bad bits, my mistakes and my bad choices, my good hair days and my bad hair days….Phew!… What good news, Jesus lover of my soul and my hair!

Here’s just a little something about myself…I am a lover of Jesus, lover of my husband and a lover of my 4 wonderful children. I love to see people walking out exactly what is on their scroll and to dream and dream and dream!! I am no Theologian and Papa likes to talk to me in the simple ways. I don’t do complicated! So let’s ponder together…..

Jesus…. Jesus Christ…… Christ in us the Hope of Glory…… Christ in us the Hope of Glory……… Ponder this……… I love the mysteries of God…. Here it is in the Amplified version:

“To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.” (Colossians 1:27)

It pleases God to reveal His mysteries to us. The original greek word for pleases is the’-lō, which means; to will, have in mind, intend, to be resolved or determined, to purpose, to desire, to wish, to love, to like to do a thing, be fond of doing, to take delight in, have pleasure.

God willfully intended and resolved in His mind to wish and desire for us to know His mysteries as it gives Him pleasurable delight. Wow! How amazing and how real! What a Papa we have that he delights in us sharing in His secret mysteries. What a journey…..

God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. (Ephesians 1: 9)

He wanted to reveal to us the secret of The Gospel, Christ in us; within us; and among us……………. IS the hope of Glory. This is so that He can commune with us on such a deeper personal level. He died that we might live in Him and through Him, that our breath would be His breath, that our walk would be His walk that our words would be His words. Living and breathing Jesus every second of every day and night for eternity. Waaaah! I get hit by such joy when I contemplate this.

This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. (Ephesians 5: 32)

How do we practice this everyday? Now everyone’s lives are different, you might work long hours or unsocialable hours, you maybe a career or a stay at home mum. Whatever your situation there are always going to be natural distractions shall we call them……The kids are crying! Washing to do…..Work to get to, demands from bosses, houses to clean!

BUT let’s not get bogged down with this stuff I have learnt to lean into HIM on a daily basis and after continually practising I now find it easy to find His presence in the day to day madness.

This is how I have done it, for example I am washing the dishes, I think on Jesus, I open my heart up to Him and by faith I physically turn my head as if I am relocating myself mentally into Him. I lean my heart and my spirit into His prescence, it’s a bit like placing your face into water, you can feel the difference something is different. I love that feeling when I am busy busy and you stop….relocate yourself and lean into Him….feel the peace, feel the love and the joy. Do you feel it? Practice it? It works… Now as time goes by you’ll find that this gets easier and easier and you no longer have to physically turn your head but the access you have to His prescence is in you…..Christ In you. The source of all your needs.

Lean on Him! Learn how to live your life In Him and through Him and with Him. Living out of the Ruach of Him in you… continual communion with Jesus the Son of the Living God. Ever thought about the word communion….. Comm/ Union. It’s the same, the coming together in unity… fellowship. The original greek word for communion is koi-nō-nē’-ä (don’t know how you pronounce that one!!) which means; fellowship, community, joint participation, the share which one has in anything, participation, intercourse, fellowship, intimacy.

Let’s practice turning into Him, that we might realise that He really does live in us. We are co-crucified with Him, co-buried with Him and co-raised with Him!

“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.” (Romans 6: 3-6)

So much Joy!! So much Intimacy!! So much Love!! So much Revelation!!

Well, it has been fun sharing with you, I pray that the spirit of revelation would come and open your eyes to new and thrilling doors that He has for you to walk through. That your walk with Papa, Jesus and Holy Spirit would take you to deeper dimensions in Him. You have Creator God living IN you……..no excuse……. lean into Him and dream Big!

Believing For Succeeding

by Jennifer Martin

What do we as women believe about ourselves? Do I have to listen to the negative thoughts in my head? Can I really choose who I am? Does my destiny depend on my actions? Could who I want to be and God’s desires for me be one in the same?Does culture define who I am? Do my experiences create who I become or do they merely join me on my excursion in life? Must we as women become the product of circumstances that happened to us or can we choose who we want to be? Many of us have given in to the pressure and lie of imminent failure, like we are doomed to tread on a continual negative hamster wheel. We can deceive ourselves into believing that if we have failed time and time again, then imminent failure must be at hand always.

Yet, why put so much faith in our ability to fail rather than faith in out potentiality to succeed? Whichever one we choose takes much preparation mentally. On the one hand we can habitually think negative thoughts about ourself and put all our energy and focus into giving up. On the other hand, we can habitually choose positive thoughts and move forward towards success and freedom. Either way, I am living the same amount of hours, and breathing the same number of breaths. So how do I want to live them? I make a decision. I choose to think positively! I choose to believe! I choose to succeed!

Scientific evidence has proven the link between negative thoughts with failure as well as positive thoughts with success. The Bible says, As he thinks in his heart, so is he. -Proverbs 23:7. Or you could say, As she thinks in her heart, so is she. So are you one who places yourself in the category of desiring success? If so, then let’s begin by eliminating the root of failure, and instead planting the seeds of success.

What is the root of negative thoughts? Some may agree our present circumstances, childhood upbringing or how our parents raised us. Some may say the devil is the root of all negative thoughts. Now, what about God? Is He negative? No. The Bible declares that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17KJV). Therefore, the sources of negative thoughts can come from our life circumstances, the carnal mind or the devil.

Our life’s experiences and our upbringing definitely have a lot of influence over the way we think, but they do not have to define us. If we experience a lot of hurtful things, then we can easily become hopeless and pessimistic over the years if we don’t find our victory in the word of God. We can allow hurts we have endured to cause anger, bitterness, and unbelief. We begin to believe since life has always dealt us a bad hand then it will continue to.

Maybe we learned negative thinking from others that spoke negatively to us. What we hear and see, we can easily learn to copy and allow it to become a habit over time. Maybe it’s true, but can it be changed?

Let’s talk about the carnal nature… The Bible says, the carnal mind is at enmity (opposition) with God (Romans 8:7). The carnal mind is against God and thinks only of itself. It is only concerned with the flesh and the body. But we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinth. 2:16 KJV), after we have received Jesus and have been baptized in the Holy Spirit. Now we have the mind of the Spirit. We become thoughtful of spiritual things because we now have a spiritual mind. So now we have two choices of which mind we will take on; either one for the flesh or one for the spirit. Paul said,  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (Romans 7:22-25 KJV).  Who shall deliver us from the body of this death? Jesus Christ! He is our victory!

We don’t have to think the old ways anymore. We can choose to be free by believing, who the Son set free is free indeed. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:31-32, 36 KJV). As you believe, so be it done unto you, Jesus said (Matthew 8:13KJV). The devil has no power to control my mind anymore. I choose to be who I want to be.

Jesus said, And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (Matthew 3:10 KJV). Jesus laid the ax to the root of sin when He died on that tree. He cut down the power of sin over us! And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:18-19 KJV). For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2 KJV) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 KJV)

Let us choose to believe that the blood of Jesus Christ and God’s Word has made us free today. Let us begin to move forward in the thinking that we are not bound by the chains of our past. We are not bound by the chains of our life circumstances. We are not bound by the pattern of negative thinking. No matter how many times we have failed, we can start again. Jesus said, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40 NKJV) Could it be that simple? Yes! From now on, I choose to believe what the Word of God says about me. I choose to think positive thoughts about myself starting right now!

Say this prayer and confession to help jumpstart you into a life of victory.

“Father, thank you for the freedom through Jesus Christ, your Son. I ask you to help me think the way you want me to think about myself. I am valuable. I am important. I was planned by you. I am loved. I have purpose. No matter how many times I’ve failed in the past I can get back up and start again. I ask for the strength to never ever ever ever give up. I choose to think right thoughts, positive thoughts, and lovely thoughts starting right now. I love you Lord. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.”

You Can Make It!

Janet 0027You Can Make It!
by Janet Mills

Many people often ask me, “How do you do it?” “How do you handle married life?” “How do you deal with raising your children?”  “What about full-time ministry?” “And how are you able to travel the world in ministry and still look that good?” My answer to it all… it’s the GLORY!  Several years ago I found a special little scripture, and I’ve held it very close to my heart ever since:

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.  And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises…” – 2 Peter 1:3-4

I’ve been happily married for almost 16 years and from the very beginning of our marriage my husband, Joshua and I declared, “Where there is Great love, there are always great miracles.”  That statement has become our motto in life. Our marriage and family have been filled with miracles as we aim to walk in the revelation of God’s love for ourselves, eachother and others.  We now have been blessed with three beautiful children.  Our home is filled with one teenager, one toddler and now a newborn baby.  These are our precious treasures that the Lord has entrusted us with and we are devoted to raising them in the glory realm… we believe this to be a direct response to the prayer of Jesus when he prayed “thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). We want to create the atmosphere of Heaven in our home and model it for others to experience as well.

I’ve had the privilege of travelling to over fifty nations ministering the love and glory of God all over the world to beautiful people everywhere we go. If we aren’t on the road as a family, I am at home, handling the majority of the administration work of our ministry as well as raising our children. Yes, I am the one that is handling the daily online orders that are placed for our many CDs and books… and I make sure to pray over each package before it is shipped. Yes, when you email our office, I am reading the letters and doing my best to respond to each one. I have always homeschooled Lincoln and now I will be adding another student to our classroom this coming fall as our daughter Liberty begins junior kindergarten.

We love to celebrate, so we are constantly hosting people in our home for all sorts of occasions.  Everything from birthdays to Christmas to Cinco de Mayo (even though we’re not Hispanic) to Summer parties are celebrated in our home.  We have purposely created an atmosphere of celebration… where we will celebrate even the smallest holidays that most people neglect, because the Glory realm is filled with festive rejoicing and unstoppable joy (Isaiah 61:3).  We serve a God, who sits in the Heavens and laughs (Psalm 2:4).  We love to have fun in the presence of the Lord as a family. We revel in God’s presence in the meetings and experience His miracles, signs and wonders with great delight and then we go out as a family and experience the same things. I will never forget visiting King’s Dominion theme-park near Ashland, Virginia one summer. We were there with another ministry family and as we were waiting in line for the Antique Car Ride God’s glory just dropped on us right there in the park. God loves family and he loves when we enjoy each other. We stood in that line, and all of us were covered in the manifestation of visible glory that shone as golden specks upon our skin and clothing.  It was so beautiful.  My husband, Joshua, always says that “one of the most spiritual things you can do is spend time with your family and take care of the ones that God has given to you.”  We have learned that our family is our first ministry.  Everything else flows when you get your spiritual priorities in line.

How do I do it? I daily put my trust in Jesus Christ, leaning on Him and not my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).  I have discovered that I cannot do anything apart from God. His ways are so much better than mine and He truly has my best interest at heart. Every decision I make is with Him, and I must have His peace before I can make any major decisions. I trust Him for everything…as a family we walk by faith every single day, believing for God’s supernatural provision to meet every one of our needs. He has never failed us…time and time again He has come through with the most amazing miracles.  As we have lived a life surrendered to Him we have discovered that His Glory is surrendered to us… in other words… as we put our eyes on Him we realize that He is already focused upon us and that heaven is accessible to us at any moment.

I choose to walk in the freedom that has been so graciously given to me (2 Corinthians 3:17, 18).  I choose to believe His divinely inspired Word on purpose (Luke 1:45). His Word brings life and light to me. His Word brings illumination to any dark areas shining with wisdom to “know how” and “know when.”  I choose to be moved by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:14)… led and directed by Him in all things.  I’ve discovered that there is spontaneity in the Glory… and it is important to be surrendered to Him completely in this.  I choose to put on the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16; Philippians 2:5) and silence any voices that are not in line with the voice of God.  I must daily recognize that I can do all things through Christ and I receive the supernatural strength that He constantly imparts to my spirit, soul and physical body (Philippians 4:13).  This is how I choose to live in the Glory.

I invite you to join me in this discovery of living a life in God’s Glory on a daily basis.  It brings so much excitement and fulfilment to live in this way.  This is truly the only way you can do everything that God has called you to do… and be everything that He has created you to be.  In the Glory you will find divine success that will enable you to make it.
