“Adventure Awaits!”, sang the leaves
As they danced from the trees
In the grove near River Eden.
They won’t always be smallish, these two.
They will grow as the sunflowers do
In the Spring, bright and bold.
So I’ll take them by hand onto paths yet unknown.
We’ll carve out a road that will lead them to home.
A home in one’s heart, a place ever true.
A treasure to keep, and to tend that will grow into bloom.
